The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. Staff members engage volunteers through effective and timely communications, facilitating meaningful opportunities, and continually seeking and providing feedback for reciprocal growth and learning.
The IT Department of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is currently seeking a senior IT professional in our National Denver office to manage and support a wide variety of business systems and processes. The position requires working closely with diverse user groups to identify and interpret requirements, needs, and problems and collaborating with a team to resolve technical issues expediently.

Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor systems, processes, and or projects to identify potential problems or needs for correction;
  • Utilize business applications and IT personnel to manage and support a wide variety of systems and processes;
  • Work closely with customer support team lead to identify and interpret requirements, needs, and problems;
  • Responds quickly to customers' requests and makes independent decisions that have an impact on their daily operations; meet deadlines on project timelines.
  • Resolve technical issues expediently and escalates issues to leadership team when critical;
  • Participate in on-call after-hours rotation to provide necessary business support when required.
  • Design, build, implement, and or maintain technical support systems; analyze and document systems; research issues and provide analysis of results.
  • Work as a team member within a larger team; may supervise a project work team, or may be an individual contributor.
  • Coach and provide guidance to less experienced team personnel; keep team members informed with up-to-date relevant information;
  • Work with vendors to implement technical functionality and troubleshoot and resolve system issues; provide technical estimates.
  • Establish yearly goals and meet objectives based on Human Resource Online Performance and Planning Assessment.
