We have an exciting opportunity to join our national Finance team as an Constituent Information Associate.

The Constituent Information Associate serves as key support in the day to day operations in a shared services model for managing constituent information, a critical part of driving forward the Society vision to leverage Constituent information to inspire powerful lifetime relationships in the MS movement. The Constituent Information Associate is responsible for fulfilling the capture, maintenance and acknowledgment of Constituent information on behalf of the chapters supported by this site. The role of the Constituent Information Associate is critical to Society's ability to leverage Constituent information to improve the Constituent experience, to turn Constituent insight into strategic action and to grow Constituent value by building powerful relationships.

Essential Function/Responsibility
The daily operations of the Constituent Information Management Center consist of the following strategic areas of information management:

1. Event Information Management

  • Complete pre- and post- event entry, or any other defined practices for managing event-related constituent information
  • Manage split gifts and transfer gifts; identify and maintain the best practice for "money moves"
  • Manage matching gifts confirmation in the operating systems

2. Constituent Information Management

  • Update basic contact information and profile information, including address changes and customer preferences for communication
  • Maintain data quality of records through the merging of duplicate records and transactions, and correction of errors related to universal standards of excellence
  • Complete monthly reconciliation between finance and constituent information teams and systems

3. Acknowledgment

  • Generate acknowledgment lists and ensures proper disbursement of all donor acknowledgments within one week of gift receipt

4. Reporting

  • Maintaining standard reports for events and programs

5. Database Management

  • Submit technical issues through the ticketing system to Information Technology as necessary and appropriate

6. Other Duties as Assigned
